What is the Illuminati? The Illuminati is a secret brotherhood of mostly men that see themselves as above the law and above others in their esoteric and occultic knowledge. They are believed by many to be well-organized in planning and creating world events and there is evidence to support this belief.
The name Illuminati derives from their belief that they are the illuminated ones or the enlightened ones. The original Bavarian Illuminati was created on May 1st 1776 by Adam Weishaupt who was a German philosopher, professor of civil law and then of canon law and it is said to have broken up because of the Bavarian ruler of the day outlawing them. Well, by all appearances, they continued on in secret or another group calling themselves the enlightened ones (the Illuminati) formed since after the outlawing of them. Evidence of their existence and activities will be shared on this page.
